Injective has released its very own integrated platform called Injective Hub for Decentralized Finance (DeFi) related topics. This user interface will serve as a one-stop destination for wide-ranging functions such as staking, governance, and wallets.
In a recent rebrand a month ago, the Injective community sought to “represent a culmination of progress while beginning a new age of interoperability”. Following the revamping of its values, the community has now released a sleek interface with a dynamic backend that will ensure seamless on-chain DeFi processes.
According to a blog post on Injective’s website, the new interface focuses on furnishing its users with a diversified array of on-chain functions such as staking, governance, and wallets. Staking on Injective has been disclosed in two phases over the past year or so. The Injective Equinox staking was formally announced on 29th March 2021, when a large number of INJ were staked by users to test the framework and operations of staking. On the other hand, The Mainnet staking on Cannary Chain was released by the end of Q2, enabling the international Injective community to seal the Injective Network. Cannary Chain has ever since observed a surge in interest as it has locked $100 Million into the network by the community.
Some of the Injective Hub functionalities described in the blog post are that of Dashboard, Wallet, and the Staking Page. The Dashboard of the Hub reflects the complete metrics for INJ and allows convenient proximity to all the other functions. While the Injective explorer page is still under construction, selecting any of the blocks on the ‘real-time depiction of blocks being appended to Injective chain feature’ will take you to the explorer page. The Wallet Page exhibits crucial data related to one’s holdings like balances, delegations, etc. One can also refurbish assets across Ethereum and the Injective Chain. Last but not the least, the Staking page will allow the user to observe all the operative validators on the network. One can also note down the high-level information of the validator’s voting power and commission.
Injective Protocol was founded by Eric Chen and Albert Chon in 2018, to target the market of derivatives with a scalable and decentralized approach. The Injective community has been promising unlimited and unhindered access to DeFi markets since day one and enjoys immaculate support from giants like Pantera Capital, Binance, and Mark Cuban. As an Ethereum-based decentralized derivative exchange backed by layer-2 solution, Injective Labs revealed its first decentralized exchange system in DeFi in April 2020. The project focused on taming the limitations of the DEXs, which constrained users owing to increased latency and inadequate liquidity.
